When thinking about creating a blog (tonight), I told my roommate that what I was up to and she laughed. Then, seeing my sadface, she recovered and asked me what I would write about. Stupefied by this seemingly very obvious question, I laughed back to her (and at myself) beacuse I did not have any particular idea of what I actually wanted to share. In fact, I created a word document just to make a list of a few ideas for topics. Alas, my list started to get longer than this first post so, I decided to just start writing this and see where I wound up. In the past few minutes, while trying to summarize what it is that I really want to use this blog for, I realized that I wanted to start/create/write a blog about things that make up and create communities.
Hmmm, does this sounds cheesy like Veleeta? Yes, probably. However, I have found that ideas of community have been dancing in my head like sugarplums lately. So, here we go, let’s talk jive turkey about communities and see what we come up with.
