Hi friends,
This past week our training group went to the national forestry school and learned about community reforestation projects. We also reforested a recharge area of a micro-watershed with Nim trees. They are really cool and multiple use trees that are native to India. However, they are good for repelling bugs, fodder for animals, and firewood.
I also want to share a few photos with you all.
Keep sending updates! I miss everyone terribly (I also really miss drinking tap water! Everyone, pour a little out for me.)
Eat a peach!
carleen.

CArly,
What beautiful pictures. I love hearing from you.
Mrs. Ross
I just sent you a letter!! It’s dated for Monday, but I didn’t get to the post office until today, soooo yeah. Just thought I’d give you a head’s up!
Hi Carly, the tree reminds me of one down south
where when branches touch the ground they may
put down roots. I will think of you when I run the
water . On tv today, saw the airport at T and told
that it is the 2nd hardest place to land in the world. Keep up the great writings- we enjoy them
so much!! Love, G[Shirley
What great pictures! The tree is magnificent. I don’t see too many of those around Swisher, IA – LOL. Everyone says hi to you! Bridget just headed back to Camp Courageous. She has 2 weeks left with campers then back to school. Before she left we wrote Chase’s cross country meets on our calendars so we can go see him in IC. We enjoy your updates. I think I get more updates from you than I do from Christine in Mnpls! Take care – Love, Aunt Sue
Hi Carly, great pictures! I’m getting quite an education reading your blog. Love all the interesting facts (I’d take a guy that cooks any day, gay or straight!). Your mom is very proud of you!
Take care and stay safe,
Lynne Pieroni
